NRYS’s main sailing ground is at Tully Street on the Carrington waterfront. This is an exciting location to sail when winds are blowing north/ south or south/north. We have an alternative site where we can sail just a few hundred meters or so to the north. This secondary location is off the western end of Arnold Street and known as Kennedy Cove. It is adjacent to the start line of parkrun. We are indeed grateful to Newcastle Rowing Club for the use of their carpark adjacent to this wonderful location. Kennedy Cove is a perfect venue when winds are blowing east to west or visa versa.
NRYS acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
